Mountain Bounty Harvest Dinner!

This Saturday I am very excited to be cooking for the annual Mountain Bounty farm harvest party. I basically get to choose from the “bounty” of the season and create a menu that comes directly from the farm. Last year I went with a more Italian inspired menu. Lots of fresh tomatoes in pasta on open faced sandwiches etc. This year I think I will be going for a more warming Indian Farm-fusion style. Here is my menu so far:

Big Booming Green Salad

BBQ Corn

Dirty Rice with Black Beans and Chilies

Curried Summer Squash and Tomatoes with Arugula and Walnuts

Roasted winter Squash and Potatoes with Butter and Salt

Melon Cooler Drink

Some kind of berry-pear crumble!

YUM!

Joe will be helping me which is great. He is amazing to work with and really inspired in the kitchen.

This dinner is open to all food lovers.
