Local artist and bed and breakfast proprietor Peggy Levine has several works on display at In The Kitchen cooking school from April 1-June 1. The are etchings done on a 2-ply linen rag mag  mat board and then colored with oil paint.

This collection is of wild and loose flower arrangements that are a less refined shape and texture. They appear to be created not by Martha Stewart but by someone with a natural talent.

Margaret Warner Swan was born in San Francisco in 1944, and has attended the University of Oregon, and the San Francisco Art Institute as well as San Francisco State College, where in 1968 she received a B.A. in Printmaking. Margaret’s work has been in award shows, shown in galleries, and she has participated in Artist in Residency programs.

Her work is available for viewing and purchase by appointment and during class hours. Call 478-0669 to set a time to come by.
