Whole foods based cooking class and conversation led by Kathy Sheffield.

Kathy will lead us in a conversation based on Michael Pollan’s most recent book, In Defense of Food which will be followed by a cooking class (taught by Wendy) that focuses on Pollan’s mantra, “Eat Food. Not Too Much. Mostly Plants”

Kathy Sheffield is a longtime nutritionist in the community. She has a therapy practice that focuses on the emotional basis of overweight eating disorders. She’s also a nutritionist at the Cancer Center and teaches at Sierra College, and is an avid foodie.
