The next In The Kitchen Community Dinner will be held December 7th!

Mark your calendars for Dec. 7th (Monday) at 7:00 pm. Currently there are 12 places available. Four places will be available at the work table in the kitchen. First come, first served, (bribery is encouraged and accepted).
The menu this month will be German cuisine. If you’re not familiar with this hearty style of cooking, you’re in for a treat. There is much more to it than just knockwurst and saurkraut.

Mixed cheese and bread platter

Carrot and Cucumber salad

Braised red cabbage and apple
Schnitzle with chicken
Spaetzle

Pear Kuchen
Linzer cookies

As always, BYOWine or beer – I recommend light whites or full bodied beer. Dinner will be served family style at In The Kitchen’s lovely dining room (648 Zion Street Nevada City). The price is $30 per person; cash, checks and credit cards are accepted.  Please make your reservation by email or phone – and feel free to pass this invitation along to anyone you think might be interested.
