Symbiotic Sustenance…In the Kitchen in the Briar Patch News

As many of you know, In the Kitchen is in partnership with Briar Patch Co-op……recently they wrote a glowing article about In the Kitchen’s new line of fermented foods. To read more about this project, check out the article here.

Living Lands Agrarian Network is a non-profit organization that offers training and mentor-ship to the next generation of farmers.  Our unique model of cooperative farming integrates ecological education, community involvement, resource sharing, and celebration around the food we grow right here in our neighborhoods.  We practice and promote localized ecological farming for the profound effect it has on ourselves, our neighbors and the planet. Tim Van Wagner, my brother is one of the founders of LLAN.

Together over the past year, Tim, Joe and I have grown the food, created the brand, sourced the labels and jars and MADE thousands of jars of Sauerkraut, Kim Chi, dill pickles and Carapeno which is now available for sale at Briar Patch and other local natural foods markets.

Next year we plan on expanding our offerings with another flavor!
