Introduction to French “Mother Sauces” and their Modern Counterparts –
In this class we’ll review the definitions of the French “Mother
Sauces” and Jen will demonstrate the modern versions of each sauce.
Espanol, Villute, Bechamel, Hollandaise, and Tomato will be covered.
We’ll discuss pairings in dishes, and you’ll leave with recipes to put
the sauces to use.
